Abraham Attah appears to be one clever young chap, he earned a 4.0 GPA score at the end of his first school year in the United States, and was presented with the Scholastic Improvement Award for his achievement.
Director Zoey Martinson, who worked with the young actor on the award-winning war drama, ‘Beasts of No Nation’, shared the great news on Instagram saying:
Abraham Attah moved to the US last year to continue his education and career, and enrolled at the Cheshire Academy in Connecticut.

Ghanaian teen actor Abraham Attah is the first Ghanaian actor to grace the 88th Oscars Awards. He lives with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Attah in Ashiaman, a suburb of Tema.
The teen actor made his film debut in “Beast of No Nation” in 2014 where he played the lead role as a child soldier called Agu after being selected by the Director, Cary Funkanaga.
He has received both Local and International awards and nomination. Some of the awards and nominations include: Ghana Movie Awards Best Actor in a Leading Role, Black Film Critics Rising Star Awards, Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, Gold Derby Film Awards for the Best Breakthrough Performer Awards, Circuit Community Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading, just to mention a few.
He has featured in another soon to be premiered Hollywood movie titled ‘Modern Ocean.’ The young actor has encountered most of Hollywood celebrities like: Morgan Freeman, Sylvester Stallion, John Legend, Terry Crews, Ben Stiller and the “Stay with me” singer Will Smith.
