Ghana’s gospel music Minister Joe Mettle has released his first single for the year, “Mehia Wo Yesu.”
The prayerful song, which comes off his upcoming album “Wind of Revival” hinges on man’s yearning for more of God and the need to depend on him in all situations.
Joe Mettle, real life name Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle, is an anointed gospel artist from Ghana. He’s the first gospel artist to grab the topmost award – ‘Artist of the year’ at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2017.
Currently, he has more than ten local and international music awards from notable award schemes like: Gospel Industry Awards, African Gospel Music Awards, African Gospel Awards in UK, RIGA Awards in South Africa, CCML Ghana Gospel Awards, and Bass Awards. Joe Mettle even won himself ‘Best Male Gospel Award’ that was held in SA, South Africa.
“Mehia Wo Yesu” sung in the Ghanaian popular dialect Twi, and which literally translates as “I need you Jesus” in English, comes with it captivating video that reechoes the theme of the song. The song was produced by Koda of Koded Studios.
