Ghana premier league giants Asante Kotoko have terminated the contract of misfit midfielder Muniru Sulley.
He joins the club last year on a two-year deal as a free agent. The 28 years old struggled to break into the setup, playing only four games with all the four games, he came on as a substitute.
Asante Kotoko announced that the player has some grudges with the club’s chief executive. the feud between the CEO and Muniru was after Coach Konadu introduced the player ina match but the CEO was not happy and granted an interview, he made it clear he is not match fit but the coach forced him into the game. The player didn’t take it lightly thus the termination.
In the letter, Kotoko has indicated, they have terminated the contract of Muniru Sulley, younger brother of Sulley Muntari without him taking a salary as well as he not taking any compensation.
The Kumasi-based club however indicated in their letter that the player did not receive any pay during his stay with the club.
He has featured for five clubs abroad, including Romanian giants Steaua Bucuresti and CFR Cluj.
