Former Deputy Minister of Employment and Labour Relations in the Mahama administration, Alhaji Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed, has attributed the inability of Floyd Mayweather Jr. to visit the country to insecurity . “It’s very sad Mayweather was unable to come to Ghana; he’s legend and the most successful boxer ever to walk on the face of the earth,” he told Accra based Okay FM Tuesday. “If he comes to your country, it's like being honoured with a world cup or Afcon tournament; it comes with a lot of benefit.” “It’s unfortunate, he could have come along with business tycoons and this requires a peaceful environment.” “So, it's unfortunate he didn’t come because of insecurity in this country,” the former MP for Akwatia said. “The main reason he postponed his tour to Ghana is that the country is not safe for him. What’s going on now shows clearly that our security is not too good for him ,” he added. “If President. Nana Addo will stop his foreign tours and take a critical look at our security system, Mayweather and his people wouldn't have cancelled their visit. Alhaji Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed lost his Akwatia Constituency seat to New Patriotic Party’s Mercy Adu-Gyamfi also known as Ama Sey.

Stonebwoy has revealed in an interview that he knew nothing about Zylofon Media signing Shatta Wale.

Stonebwoy in a radio interview stated that he knew nothing about Zylofon Media signing Shatta Wale, implying that he only got to know on the day was officially unveiled.

In the same interview, which we’ve attached below as well, the host of the show, questioned Stonebwoy what he thinks, about rumours that Shatta Wale was signed because he (Stonebwoy) was not promoting Zylofon effectively on Social media like Wale is doing.

In response to that question, the ‘Mighty Lele’ singer answered by saying that, if it was what Zylofon Media wanted and felt it would help the label, hence the need to sign Shatta Wale, for the best interest of the record label, then there’s no problem with that at all.
