21 of the ministers who served in the previous government of Akufo Addo were ditched by the president in his new administration. The 21 ministers have been replaced by new ones in the second term. only one portfolio has been scrapped off, that the position of Osaffo Marfo, senior minister.

Cynthia Morrison who was the gender minister in the old administration will not work in the new one, while Ataa Akyea who was the minister for works and housing will also not feature in the new administration. Education Minister Matthew Opoku Prempeh also lost his office in the new administration also Gloria Akufo who was the Attorney General will also not be in the new administration
