Following the command of His Excellency Nana Akuffo-Addo, schools across the country have resumed. The closure of schools for almost a year was due to the Government’s attempt to manage the virus. Although the President vehemently warned students and Ghanaians at large to adhere to the safety protocols, music producer Edward Nana Poku Osei of Last 2, popularly known as Hammer seems to have reservations about the situation.

On social media, Hammer wrote, “Thank u for finally sounding the alarm Mr. President but this back to school thing is not very smart at this time, I’m sorry.”

Furthermore, Hammer shared a photo from the Christ The King International School, questioning the practicality of the safety protocols in the aforementioned school. “How is this practical… unless u wanna say a lot of them have quit sch how is this even logical. Where are the rest of them. Can we pls stop kidding ourselves now!” Hammer fumed.

Due to the sudden spike in cases, we further encourage everyone to stay safe and adhere to all safety protocols.
