OBL made this revelation in an exclusive interview with casting director, Mawuko Kuadzi, and confirmed same to Presspeep.com when contacted.

“I have not received my trophy. Since last year (December)! I need my trophy! I need it. Even if it’s not ready, at least a certificate or something to show that I won the award will be enough” OBL told Mawuko.

When asked if he has had any word from the organizers, he told Presspepp.com:

“Not a word. No form of communication. Just pure silence.”

The site made several calls to the known number of founder of the award, Fred Nuamah, but to no avail – number was off as at the time of wrapping up on this report.

On the ongoing advocacy by the Presspeep.com team for OBL’s movie to be considered for Oscars come 2018, Mawuko asked OBL if he will send his movie ‘Pieli’ to the 14-member committee set up to review and select one Ghanaian local movie for nomination in the Oscars come 2018 – he said.

“Why not? I will. I will send it to them for consideration” excited and optimistic OBL said.
