The suspension prompted the filing of a motion that is seeking to stay the said examination by the former Attorney General, Mr. Amidu, which was scheduled for Thursday, November 24 at the Supreme Court.

At the court’s sitting, Thursday, Justice Anin Yeboah drew the attention of Mr Amidu and the representative of the Attorney General to the filing of the motion on Wednesday, November 23 at 1:30pm. The motion could, however, not be moved for its hearing on grounds of short service of the parties.
