Controversial Ghanaian music, Kwame Obeng Asare popularly known as A-Plus has declared his intention to contest for the chairmanship at the Gomoa Central branch of the New Patriotic Party.
He disclosed this in a Facebook post on Monday July 2, 2017:
“Yesterday I met with some of the hardworking Gomoa Central NPP Executives. At the meeting I informed them about my plan to contest for the constituency chairmanship position in the upcoming election and other future ambitions. Thanks to all those who made it to the meeting. I’m looking forward to meeting with those of you who could not make it very soon.”
This revelation actually comes as a surprise of a sort because A-Plus, since ever campaigning and endorsing Nana Addo (then candidate) and NPP, made it clear that he is supporting not because he wants positions or fighting for his stomach – but because he believes in the Nana Addo-NPP manifesto (policies) promises to govern the nation.
