Monitoring around for other scholars thoughts on the issue, Presspeep.com chanced on a post by popular lawyer, Kofi Bentil. Lawyer Kofi Bentil, sharing his thoughts on the development, has stated unequivocally that pornography is not illegal. In his own words, he said:

“I am Christian. Porn is not illegal.” He also made the point that since one has his freedom and will to decide what to watch on TV or not, those who find the watching of porn on screens offensive can do themselves a favour by using their remotes to change channels:

“Use your remote!!” he urged. Lawyer Bentil argued further that the moral upbringing of a person is largely the responsibility of parents and not the state…….”And raise your kids yourself!! Don’t ask the gov’t to do it for you!” he said.

“If anyone breaks the law, they should be arrested, till then, people should shush and use their remotes!!! We are a nation not a church!! Gov’t should solve floods and unemployment and health and education not raise your kids!” he added in reaction to someone who thought otherwise to his position.
