The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has issued a caution to clubs who do not adhere to the COVID-19 protocols at their venues that their Venues will be shutdown.
This was stated by the general secretary of GFA, Prosper Harrison Addo, during a virtual meeting with the safety and security officers and representatives of all the 18 premier league clubs on Wednesday, January 20.
The meeting was to review the COVID-19 protocols and operations that were broken at some match venues on matchdays.
The Government just gave the go-ahead for premier league clubs to have just 25% of their stadium to be filled and added that they should adhere to the strict Covid-19 protocols. But the compliance has been poor so far at various match venues.
The Ghana Football Association says they will continue to look at the situation and will take necessary measures to ensure compliance by the teams.
