Ghanaian award winning actress, Yvonne Nelson, was on The KSM Show exactly five years ago and she spoke about her love life and how she was ready to consider her best friend John Dumelo if he is willing to drop the numerous girlfriends.

She was sizzling on the show. Hanging out again with The King of prime time, KSM, last Friday, the actress who has earned for herself the legendary name ‘Yaa Asantewaa’ shared more on her social-private life and political ambitions.

A political animal she is, Yvonne Nelson disclosed her plans of becoming a full time politician in the very near future, hence, schooling currently to acquire more knowledge on leadership and governance.

The actress who has passion for public service, did not state on which political party’s ticket she will be running on when the time is due. To her, the two major political parties, NPP and NDC, have lived their relevance, and so she would consider going independent but close friends advise her it won’t be an easy path to cart.

Yvonne Nelson in 2015 during the former president of Ghana, John Mahama administration organized a massive demonstration to protest against Dumsor with the hashtag #DumsorMustStop.

The campaign earned her many interviews both locally and on BBC which generated national discussion. The Dumsor demonstration that ended in a Night vigil won her the name Yaa Asantewaa after the great female warrior of the Ashanti kingdom.
