VIDEO: Reggae/Dancehall Artist Samini Goes Into Onion Farming – WATCH His Bumper Harvest

Reggae/Dancehall musician Samini, has shared a video revealing his large plantation onion farm.

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, speaking in India in 2017 under a diplomatic forum, noted that there are riches in agriculture which needs to be tapped by the youth in Africa to help change their fortunes and also turn things around in the country.

The current leadership at the National Commission on Culture not long ago encouraged creative talents to go into farming and hinted of collaborating with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to organize agricultural competitions amongst the creative artists and the winner will be awarded at the National Farmers day celebration.

Perhaps, in line with the above and to also secure for himself and family, another stream of income, multiple-award winning reggae/dancehall musician, Samini, has gone into having.

On his official Facebook page, Samini shares a video in which some people can be seen harvesting his farm products – onion.

Samini adds that he believes “agriculture is the future’ – in other words, agriculture has great economic potentials for Ghana as an agrarian economy – and so must be taken serious.
